At the School of Mary
Welcome to the School of Mary!
You are invited to take part in a unique educational opportunity offered by the Filiae Laboris Mariae!

The Sisters have provided more recorded classes. See below or email us at SchoolofMary@filiae.org for information!

Taking these classes is a great way to learn and to support the Sisters!

We Sisters wish to invite you to gaze with us into the mysteries of our faith through the lens of what we call our first two labors: the Sacred Liturgy and the interior life.
Previously In the School of Mary, we Sisters have focused on the third labor: our apostolate. Now we invite you deeper into the heart of our spiritual life, as we offer a glance at what regularly nourishes our own souls.

A one-time recorded talk on
Mardi Gras
Often we wonder: what is the purpose of Mardi Gras? What was it originally and what should we really be doing on that day?
Join Sister Agnes Mary as she gives direction to this religiously derived secular "feast".
A one-time recorded talk on
Ash Wednesday
Some of us approach this day with fear and trembling. (Or is it Lent that we approach like that?) How should we be looking at the opportunity to fast and pray? And why ashes?
Sister Maria Magdalena gives insight into this first of the forty days in preparation for the Church's greatest and most solemn feast.
Stay tuned for a recorded series on
Traditions
Beginning in February, Sister Maria Josepha and Sister Joanna Marie give insights into the various "little t" traditions of the church. What do they mean? How do they help us? Learn some of the background and depth to the everyday traditions that are part of our Catholic heritage.
